That sucks especially since you got your new engine.

Ah Green sorry to hear you hurt yourself so bad, especially the hold on the build now.

I am recovering from a small tear in the upper end of my bicep it has caused tendonitis in the elbow on both sides, biciptitis, and a severe case of bursitis. Luckly I am left handed. I beyond agree with JimS, take her easy and recover properly.

I also had some surgery by a sports doc...the abosulte best IMO. Plus they are well trained in the physical therapy part of it. So your trips to a physical therapists will well advised.

Good luck bro!

I can suggest Dr Gray out by USF. I cracked my knee cap in half and his team had me back and going in a few short months. Great guy. I can get you his teams info if you'd like.

BTW. I'm in tampa, my buddies would have gladly helped you get that out.

Thanks guys for the support. I found a surgeon that does stuff for the bucs and he is covered by my PPO so Im going to see when I can get in. I have an MRI on Mon for see how complete the tear is and where the tendon seperated from the bone. The good news is that since there are 2 tendons connecting the muscle to the upper arm, I should regain 100% of my strength although how quickly will be determined by the rate of recovery for the reattached tendon. The motor install may not be on hold for as long as I thought. My buddy that helped me feels responsible for some dumb reason and said that he can cover what I cant, so I spent most of yesterday and the rest of today taking the motor apart seeng what needs to be replaced, and getting stuff ready to install (most of the gaskets, springs, cam, rod bolts, etc) I have 3 broken header bolts that Ive tried welding bolts and nuts to with no luck. Im going to drill them out slowly and hope for the best. Im going to make a stop at the auto store first to try to find the EZ out thing. The bolts broke off with plenty of it sticking out of the head so it looks good so far. Im enjoying thinking about how much fun Im going to have with this thing though!!

Also found out that my entire dept may be shutting down in 6 months so Ive got to find another job. Thanks for all the kind words, Im scared to death!!
