Got 3" lift put on yesterday.
Took me 8 hrs. 1.5 of that was messing with one stripped out bed bolt. Dam factory workers. Got everything on except the parking brake brakets and the plastic piece under the bumper.
Performance Accesories, is a good kit, I just wish they provided some dam pics to go along with the instructions. Some things were not real clear. Lucky I had a friend there with the same lift.
Torsion bar gets cranked up and new bar for the block for the back. Hope to have tires by the end of the week. Then just flares and steps to put on, and all is well.

ya, the Camaro looks bad *** with the 3" lift <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
Updated the sig. with new 1/4 mile time for the SS.
Trusck is a 99 Silverado ext cab, Charcoal. 100,000 miles, and still going strong. Got a good deal on it, because of the miles. It was well taken care of. When I'm done, there will be about 5" of lift on the truck.
I'm going with American Eagle 102 rims. These are similar to the Weld, with a simulated beadlock. Tires BFG Mud terrains, 35x12.5x16.5. Lund steps, some flares, and a few other small things.

Get ready for your truck to be a dog. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> Gonna do a gear swap soon?
Do they make those wheels in a 16.5 with 6-lugs? The reason I ask is because the only 16.5 wheels that I know of are all 8-lug.

Re: Got 3" lift put on yesterday.
It looks like I may have to get a different rim, because they dont make that in a 16.5. I have to get a 16.5 because I want the BFG, and they dont make the MT in a in a 35x16. I've got 2 different quotes on the 315x16, one that it is a 35" and the other says it's a 33.
Today I discover that the torsion bar on the drivers side is crap. It is 1" lower than the passengers. If I'm going to replace them, it will be with a better one. My friend has 1 tons on his. Maybe that's why he has been able to crank them up in order to fit 35's on his truck.
