who tuned it? Stock torque converter? With that cam you will want atleast a 2800 RPM stall. Ditch the shortys and get some longtubes. A NNBS intake swap would help.

Stall and a tune and you will have a world of difference. Give one of the sponsors on the right side of the screen a call, I personally use Nelson Performance for my tunes and have always been highly satisfied, I haven't heard really anything bad about the others though, so it's really whoever is closest or sounds the best to you.

 

Tune ,stall, an a trans go would definantly wake it up a speed density tune

 

Running that setup hard without a tune could tear **** up IMO, you need one simply to keep from hurting your engine. Your probably running right at 100% IDC.

 

probably the gas pump, try a different station next time........
