I took a 4.3 silverado the other day in my truck. I think he had exhaust and intake. Nevertheless, he was no match. Out of curiousity do you guys think I could take a Ford F-250 diesel with a turbo, exhaust, intake, and a chip? The kid says it'll run 14.5's. My truck has the 4.8 with flowmasters, k&n filter, hypertech, and edelbrock shorties.

Just don't let him start modding his 6.0L HD or you'll fall behind VERY quickly. LOL
Despite the extra weight those HD can get fast QUICK! Mod for mod I couldn't keep up with my buddies truck. Mine 5.3L 1500series his a 6.0L HD 2500.

Not too bad!
While we're talking about 4.3's... Anyone else here mod one? I had two. One I kept stock in my first vehicle, the other I lightly modded. It didn't respond all that well. What were your experiences?
