That might be ok in a truck with a 5.3 with a cam. I wouldn't do it in my truck, and certainly wouldn't do it in a heavy *** tahoe with 500+hp.

 

i think there has been threads about this.. ill try to look them up.. it shouldn't be a problem.. if it cant disengage then the truck wont do it..

 

Stock48 does it with 1000hp and I think he only broke one t-case so far...

 

Is that in a tahoe? my t-case is sock so with my luck it will probably break

 

I use it when I pick a street race in the rain. I watch em spin while I hook.

 

I always launch in 4x4 at the track. You'll be okay.

 

Yeah i always launched in 4x4 with my old truck at the track ( 04 ECSB Silv. 5.3 STS turbo 10#, cammed 2800 stall). Then after i got going i would push the 2 hi button. Not sure if it did any thing but it didnt hurt lol.

Thanks bro ive been working on it for about 4years to get it like this lol...

Well when im on 4wd i stall it from 2500-3100rpms it slips a lil but hooks real good. On 2wd i cant go over 3200 it just sits there and burns out and i cant stall it either because i have no traction down the track so i just do a big burn out and mash it but it doesnt hook that good.
