GM Remote Start

Default GM Remote Start

Does anyone know if the GM Remote start that is available on the 2007 Silverados will work on a 2006 Silverado..

I don't know how the GM module is wired, but it's not that hard to put in an aftermarket remote start that probably has much better range than the factory one anyway.

Yea I just prefer the all in one factory keyfob I did not like the bulky aftermarket ones.

its possible... gimme your vin's and ill check it out and see if the kits are available.... al it is 2 new remotes, and some instructions you would have to let the dealer do the install they charge like 1 hour labor to program the bcm for it... but there are certain rpo's you must have to be able to have remote start added

I dont think it will work chevyracer, the 07s are completely different truck.

My Autopage key fob is smaller than my factory one and it has much better range. I can start my truck from 6 floors up parked in the lot accross the street. It also interfaces with the door locks so I have no need to carry the stock remote. Plus I got the whole set up and installed it myself for under $100.
