just be careful, if you've ever tried to put on plug wires for the Delphi coils on a mitsubishi coil they're too short and may pull free, so even if the difference between the wires on the two engines is only like 1/4" or thereabouts, you may have issues

if that makes any sense

YEAH BUT THE L92 HAS A PRETTY LARGE SPREAD FROM COIL TO PLUG... SO ON AN OLDER LS ENGINE IT LOOKS LIKE IT SHOULD BUT NOT SURE

THE OLDER ONES HAD THE OPTION OF 1 WAS I BELIEVE 10" AND ONE 9"

NOT SURE WHY... GUESS THEY JUST NEEDED ANOTHER PART NUMBER TO FEEL COMPLETE

I don't know if it would be better to go with the GM wires or MSD's. I figure if I'm going to change wires I might as well get some nice looking red ones. Did GM make any red wires for the gen III truck engines?

No, the L92 plug wires are shorter than the LQ9 wires.

yes they did, GM Performance Parts makes a LS-based plug wire set. It runs $60, give or take. Part Number 12495519. The catalog says they're GMPP logo wires, but they're just red with black boots.
