Hey I need a part # for a 2008 GMC 2500 HD "Chromw Tow Hooks" for the front bumper.

The local idiots at the dealership said they are not available, but they are listed in the GMC accessory catalog and I have seen them on numerous trucks. Thanks again

Hey Shannon, might be going down a one way street here but can you get a P/N for the assembled 799 heads? they are supposed to be the same thing as the 243 heads only they were cast in a different mold from the 243s. Ive yet to see a P/N for them turn up so if you cant find them no biggie. Thanks buddy!

NEVERMIND... I DID A LITTLE LOOKING AND FOUND THEM... WHY WOULD YOU WANT THE 799'S? FROM HAT IM HEARING WHEN I CALLED A FRIEND AT GM PERFORMANCE HE SAID THE 243'S ARE DONE ON SPM MACHINE WHERE MOST 799'S ARE SAND CAST... AND THAT THEY HAVE USED BOTH ON ONE ENGINE TO CUT DOWN ON A TICKING PROBLEM ON NEW VETTES, BUT 243'S ARE BASICALLTY THE SAME

Oh, i was just under the impression that you can get the 799s for cheaper. i was told that the 799 was just the mold they were cast from as opposed to the 243, but they were still the same thing.
this is what i read from

YEAH THATS WHAT I SAID BRO.. SPM IS A "SEMI PERMANENT MOLD" WHICH MAKE BETTER SMOOTHER CASTINGS.. THATS THE 243'S

THE 799'S ARE SAND CAST... WHICH ARE NOT AS NICE... THE GAINS FROM 243S ARE MINIMAL, BUT GM HAS SEEN APPROX 4-7 H.P. DIFFEREMCE WITH THE SPM HEADS VS. SAND CAST..

THATS CRANK H.P.
