That's cool. My wife is funny, she won't let me mod her Tahoe at all but does'nt say a word about me wrenching on my stuff all the time . She also puts her foot into it all the time, but does'nt like the way I drive . Stopped trying to figure that out long ago....

Anyway, every once and a while we will be out in the truck and if I am next to a ricer or other truck at a light, she will just look at me and say "get it over quick." So I will dump on whoever it is through the first two gears and then settle down to normal. Gotta love a woman like that.....

That's awesome.

My girlfriend is exactly like your wife in the first paragraph. She yells at me when I goof around, but it's okay for her to do it.

Another time she's driving the truck, and just put her foot into it leaving a stop sign for no reason at all. She "finishes", looks at me in the passenger seat and says, "How do YOU like it?". (as if I wouldn't??) I was just sitting there grinning, and I said, "See... that was fun, right? Wait 'til I do some more stuff to it." The conversation pretty much ended right there...

My girlfriend loves me tinkering. Her dad was a machanic by trade. She has been after me to fix up my '64 VETTE for us to go play with. I think I found me a new toy. '78 Chevy 1/2 ton 4x4. Play toy for the MUD.

We also have a 2000 Yukon XL 4x4 w/ the 5.3 L V-8. That is her daily driver (grocery getter - Kid taxi) but she has let me make a few mods & is slowly letting me do more to it. Hope to have it looking nice for Cruisin' the Coast. I may even bring my Vette.
