Gears vs LT's and tune

Getting ready to FINALLY get my 2-4 on and am going to either do geaers next or lts and tune but dont know what will be better first... my truck is a 2006 gmc sierra rcsb 5.3 flexfuel.... totally stock besides a drop in filter and 40's flow

Gears depending on what you hsve and what you want to go to. Gears was where I started modding.

lts/gears or vice versa then have it all tuned in.

If your gonna go gears I say go for a Truetrac while its apart.

Maybe you choice should be gears + tune or LT + tune. You will need to reflash the pcm for the correct gear size. It is not totally necessary, but I would.
