Default Gauge questions

I am looking at autometer Cobalt fuel pressure, Trans temp, and Vac/boost gauges and the sending unit doesnt come with the electrical 30/30 vac/boost gauge and also what range of temps on the trans temp gauge and what range on the fuel pressure gauge for and 06 silverado w/5.3

on the fuel press. ge the 0-100psi http://www.autometer.com/cat_gaugede...gid=2570&sid=4

i looked on the website and the only trans temp i see in 2 1/16" full sweep electric is 100-260 degrees and that is fine http://www.autometer.com/cat_gaugede...gid=2573&sid=4

i looked on the website and it says the boost/vac gauge comes with the MAP sensor http://www.autometer.com/cat_gaugede...gid=2569&sid=4

the vac/boost gauge should come with the sender, my electric phantom series did anyways.

And the above ranges will be fine.

They should all come with sending units, but their wiring harness seemed short for me and needed to be extended. Go with the 100 psi on the fuel pressure since you will reach 60psi without any vacuum.

Just wondering on teh tranny gauge, woulden't it be cheeper and easier to just get a cluster with a tranny gauge?

thats what i would do too but i thought he might be just wanting to fill up another space in a triple pod pillar

A cobalt tranny temp gauge is like $65 dollars...a new gauge cluster is about 200 or more...A new cluster may be easier but not cheaper
