a motorcycle is a fun and economical way to get by when you have to drive. If I was still driving 120 miles a day, you bet your *** I would be on a nice bike and still saving money. I understand you guys up North can't do that, but I only have 3 months out of the year that it's to cold.

This post is not directed at anyone specifically:

I think it's fine to complain about the price of gas. Since one oil company made $45B in profits last year. However, you can't complain about how much gas your truck uses. It's a truck, it has a V8. Many have "modded" the living **** out of it to make it go faster. Gas mileage should not be a concern. Please re-read the name of this site.
I'm not trying to be an *** but, if you have to struggle to pay for gas then you need to stop modding your truck. You have to pay to play.
BTW, 10mpg daily driver 93 octane @ $2.90/gallon =$75 fill-up every 5 days.

It was 2.45 or something like that a while back, and my mother filled the truck at 1/8 of a tank and it was like 56 bucks.

Paid almost 42 bucks to fill it from 1/2 tank. Price at 2.75

If you gotta use your car/truck to pick up girls, you have more than gas milage issues

Around the same prices here and I HATE that the pump shuts off at $75.00. I always fill up when I get down to 3/8 of a tank to avoid having to swipe the card twice. The way I look at it is, yes gas is expensive, but so is everything else. Look at the price of a cup of coffee, or a 20oz bottle of soda, or even a gallon of milk. If I was worried about gas milage I'd be riding a bike and not driving a supercharged truck with 4.10's.
