right now i'm looking between a s-10 zr2, colorado z-71, and a silverado z-71 or SS. they all seem to get near the same gas mileage. the colorado a few say they have seen 24mpg but the norm seems to be 17-19 so there isn't much incentive to go smaller so far.

On my way back from Bakersfield yesterday I got 19.6 mpg. Before I had a good tune it was 15.7-16.5 mpg. With my foot in the blower....well, I think the lowest the 'Instant MPG' setting on my computer reads is 3 mpg. Must be.

i just drove from houston to arlington, arlignton to dallas, then down 45 to houston again and used just about a full tank...23 gallons. ended up driving in a circle for a while there, yeah yeah i got a little lost, but it ends up at around 21mpg with the 3.42's.

I was getting 20 MPG in my 4.8L and that was city/highway mix, and I was on the gas somewhat, however, I didnt run the A/C hardly any. If I get a tune I would expect to see 22 MPG with really easy driving.
