sure.... park it.

JFWY... mine is parked more now that 93 octane has reached $4/gal. It was descent when fuel was in the $2 - $3 range. Can't afford to commute 100 miles /day, even @ 18mpg (hwy). Truck's now a "to da store & back" vehicle... and a 1320' runner.

If you are driving mostly around town (e.g. stop-n-go, redlights, etc), then you will only see 16mpg.

That's what I get around town. Now, highway mileage is close to 22mpg (@ 75-80mph), but I have been doing some testing this week. Just by slowing down to 55-60mph I am observing 26.5mpg on the highway. I'm finding that pretty awesome.

Since 93oct reached $3.90+ ive been driving my truck really easy.. with the stock TC and 80E. 3.42 gears and 28-29" tire (275/60/16 Toyos... close to 28.5").

It use to be 16 around town.. then it went to 17.. now i can get 18.2. ( i think i saw a snail pass me the other day though) Its hard to do but its nice to get that good gas mileage out of my truck.. i can squeeze 23.5-24 out of it on the highway doin 60ish.. 70mph i get about 21mpg..

Now for the guys that said the 80E will make your gas mileage suffer.. i laugh at you! Learn how to drive.

When i had the TT3000 and 65E i could get 15.5-16 in town, best i could get.. and right at 24 on the highway @60.

The weekend i put the 80E in, I put 1200 miles on my truck. Total average was 20.1mpg.. that was alot of interstate miles and City miles.

Worst i got was 10.5... haha! Towed a camaro to the track, made 4 passes. 3 of them were 13.3s and one 13.4. towed a Cobra home..
