I've had a locking cap for a few years, got it as a christmas present. But just recently after trying to syphon some gas out of my dads expedition for a jetski, we discovered that all late model vehicles have a screen down there to keep anyone from syphoning (I guess thats the purpose).

 

i told my co worker there was something on the late model vehicle sto keep people from syphonin gas but he said no
