g forces

don't the g-tech things do g-force type stuff?

in the moutains the car probably wouldnt be flat as you said it was banked and that could have been what threw you off when you start talking about centripetal forces that is when the weight of the object comes into play and it is a totally differnet thing because those forces come about when swung in a complete circle not half of a circle like the necklace on the mirror

wow so i learned a few things today lol. maybe i need to read up on a few of these things. like i said i was yung and never looked into it after that time. a guy at work was just talking about something don't even remember what and then we went from there we tried to look it up and found nothing so i posted up here. we were both wrong on this one. he was half right for once but i was way off lol.

They use a solid state accelerometer to calculate distance and speed. It would just be a second axis to be able to measure lateral G's, and some different number crunching. It should be pretty accurate,depending on the semiconductors, but not as accurate as actual measurements on a skidpad.
