I have a GT Classic made by Gemtop. It is steel on the top and fiberglass reinforced. It is super thin.

I used to have that same cover on my 96 silvy, gemtop made it, mine was on a stepside, I could take it off and put it back on by myself, I dont know if the one from a fleetside is alot more heavier??

Mine is super heavy, probably about 100-150 pounds.

I paid $950.00 total for it (installation, shipping, & cali 8% sales tax), but that was like 4 years ago. They start at $700.00-$750.00; Dual locks, carpeting, and a light are options which add to the cost.

They come painted to match and are shipped to a local gemtop dealer. It takes about 2 minutes to take the cover on and off. It takes about 4 to 6 weeks to get the after they are ordered.

The best thing about this is that it does not warp in the sun like some fiberglass covers.
