I have a 1999 silverado e cab and I have been trying to get my door seals to quit leaking. I took the weatherstripping off and cleaned them and reinstalled and still leaked so i added a strip of foam prob a half inch wide and a 1/4 inch thic where the surfaces meet. that stopped the leak but its barely holding the gaskets not fitting tight. I thought about buying new weatherstripping but to me it looks like the door is not shutting enough anyone have any suggestions?
