After having Flowmaster...all my life i went to the Magnaflows today...I had been runing A two camber flow with 3in pipe coming out in front of the rear axle
........now i have a Tru-duel,dump with 2.5in magnaflow...I wanted some thing not so Violent and Raw when i mashed the gas and thats what i got...it has a rich tone to me a little smoother...Plus it fixed my Stupid bogging down at 40mph...i think it can use an X-pipe but i am happy with it...

i plan on switching over to magnaflow as well, but for now, my flow does good. and unlike a lot of trucks, mine don't sound all garbled and crappy under accelaration. so i have been happy with that. i just want more power now and everyone says magnaflow is the way to go....

 

lack of backpressure maybe, try an X pipe, ...


but that power didnt really get lossed, it just moved up into the upper RPMs.


Longtubes will also compensate, and give you a little more torque.
