Default finally some new times

well, i made a trip to the track with BigKID and i finally got me a new best.

2.22 60ft
9.5 1/8 @ 75.05
14.77 @ 91.99 mph

previous best was a 14.89 at 92 mph

so all in all i was happy. oh yea, this was with the back seat on and the tailgate in place. so weight reduction really wasn't done. hell i had my son's car seat in the back (just not him in it).

BigKID got a new motor best and was very close to breaking the nitrous best. btw, he put one hell of a *** whipping on a lightning. (ole boy had to sit out for about an hour after it)

Sweet, John! I think I'm going to make a trip to G-ville tomorrow night if I get this damn pulley swapped over. I got some track bite, and the eaton is going in next week. I've also got a few money races lined up for Sunday. I found a dyno about an hour from here, so I'm hoping to strap in down next weekend.
Congrats to both you and Kenny for the new times!!!

enjoy the dyno and make sure you vid it. kenny i think would have been in the 11's if his bottle had higher pressure. he didn't get a bottle heater on it till the last 30 mins the track was open and i don't think he had it on there for too long before he ran it.

it was a fun night at the track, i took down a single cab sierra. he did horrible. 15.8. i took down an 05 chevy 15.4 and some rice mobiles. lots of rice and no *** behind them.

we need to plan something here soon for hburg.

good luck on the pulley and posi install.

Thanks man. Yeah, you guys better hurry up and get something together before I actually have to start "doing" something at work. You know how my work weeks get in mid February. Moday to Monday- 6:00a.m to 8:00/8:30p.m. One good thing though, that's how I paid for all this crap this summer.

i hear yea. either way we can make plans now. it doesn't matter to me. all we have to do is send the normal invites out to Jim, curt, the other jeremy, randy, kenny and matt and who ever else wants to come. of course, we can go rile some dodge and ford guys up. i think we have the trucks to cover whatever they can bring - assuming were talking street driven trucks.

how about, not next weekend but the weekend of the 30th. thats a sunday. i have sirius so we can listen to some football and i think we need to grill this time too.

Sounds like a plan. You know my crew will be with me, and I'm sure I can get some more guys to make that trip. We're getting a steady growing interest in racing in Cleveland. Apparently, some guys are starting to realize that these trucks have serious potential. Too bad it took them almost 6 years to figure that out. Hell, it only took me like 2.5yrs.

Cool. Hey, bad news on the engine. My dad is acting like he's going to sell it to a guy that just blew his last weekend. I might can talk him out of it, but he's really acting pissy because it's taking up room in our shed for so long. He can' get around very well in there, and he's been threatening to get rid of it this weekend.

I'll call Bart tomorrow and check see if he wants the programmer. I'll give you a call from the track tomorrow night.

if you can sell the engine go ahead. you know how things are around here. i dont' want to hold you up on it any longer. i'll be home so if the guy wants it, make sure to explain to him he will have to have it reflashed. basically do the bargaining. get what you can get. you will get your cut and i will decide if it is a good deal or not.
