Default Finally Got Truck Back

Well i got to drive my truck again after replacing one piston, changing fuel rails, and put a fuel pressure reg.engine bay is alittle tight but till i get my fuel cell it will have to do.i also have a ls1 intake i will try out on the 6 litter just to see how it will do.

I will get pic.of the rails as soon as my friend comes show me how to get them off the camera to the pc.

Runs good @ wot it is a little rich but better then lean until i get the lap top in it i am running 70 lb of fuel pressure @ idle.i am also getting some injectors to see how that is going to work.

By the way guy that have swap from 5.3 to 6.0 and ran a 5.3 tune what was your timeing change, for some reason right now @ wot @ 5500rpm i only have 24*

is the 6.0 swap hard to do in the trucks or is it a pretty much bolt in deal?
glad to hear you got it running again.

I was wondering if you do all your own engine R&R ,and build yourself or do you pay someone?

Easy, just retune for the 6l. Everything bolts in, or on.
