Or get a 3.0 pulley, retune, and a stall and you will have him from any and all speeds

yea, a dead dig race woulda been a completely different story. He had NO traction issue from this 40roll, nor did I. I think from a 30, we both woulda went up in smoke...I know I would have. Mustve been a cool race to see from an outsiders view. 2 bad *** trucks on 22s, screamin down the road from 40-130 in a matter of seconds.

By the end of this year...ill be chasin vipers instead of srt10s. Hopefully!

the quad-cab SRT-10's turned out to be a major disappointment... with the added weight and that weak dodge automatic its 'reportedly' only running high 14's - low 15's.... can't wait to run accross one of those pigs!

If thats true I cant wait to run into one of those Quad cabs. Of course if my truck is going to run as fast as Quicks, 13.0 pass with 3.73 with a cam and alot of bolt ons, (since I am preatty much copying his truck mods, except I am going a 3200 PI stall instead of a 3000 yank and 4.10's instead of 3.73. We should be able to run with the RC ones. I cant believe that dodge is puttin a automatic behind that viper motor. It shouldnt last for long.

I wouldn't of either because it's a lame response to losing a race.

When people have money to blow why would they want to by a cheap truck and mod it when they can have big HP stock and a full warranty?

Good race though.

True... it'd still be a close race, but I'm running a stock 345hp V8 and they're running a 500hp Viper V10.... but it shouldn't even be that close IMO. If I dropped $80k and had 500hp at the crank I'd expect to run better than 14-15's.

As I sit now my best is a 14.4 (avg. closer to 14.8)

I didn't know they make four-door SRT10's... huh.

Cool race though.

What kind of roads do you guys race on? Here in the northeast - if you meet up on a backroad, you're insane if you do more than 45mph. (rutted, pot-holed, twisty, hilly, lots of wild animals).

"Main" roads in the urban areas are way too congested with cops, people, etc - even in the middle of the night. The're almost always just one lane wide. It's never easy to break 50-60mph.

55mph highways are usually clogged with traffic, even at night - they're the only bigger roads where you can break 100 on. They're usually 2 lanes wide. Stop lights are few and far between.

The interstates - you know, they're all the same.
