My neighbor just got a quad cab 4x4 dodge with the [shockandawe}HEMI[/shockandawe}. He swears up and down that his truck will destroy my RCSB 5.3 because hes got a 5.7. When told to get in his truck, he said that it is still in its break-in period and that he needed to put at least 500 miles on it first. I was walking around with a smile the rest of the day just thinking of the smackdown that shall be layed. Is it a fair race? Hell no, but its funny that people think the hemi is the be all end all.

I think the thing i'm going to be most excited about is hanging my head out the window before we race and saying "hey, that thing got a hemi?" then smoking the **** out of him.

Don't toy with him, just take care of business. I've ran 3 hemi's now, and one 2wd quad cab almost caught me with my pants down. That truck was a solid 15.0 to 15.1 runner. He brake stalled to around 2K rpms (they have nice T/C's from the factory) and actually jumped on me from the line. It took a while for me to run him down a pass him. If we were running in the 1/8th, it would have been REAL close.
