From all the 73-87 Year Model trucks. I beleive the 78 weight in at the lowest amount. lil over 3500 lbs I believe. And a dumped a gas tank and some odds and ends so well see if i cant hit 3200 when im done

I hear ya... well the 01's arent exactly light lol.

I'm sure your running somr drag radials or slicks huh? Being that light, you will probably have some traction issues... any more big power mods and you'll be adding weight to the rear

That's a very nice truck you've got. Glad to see it's not a 67-72 model, don't have anything against them but you don't see too many 73-87 trucks that look as clean and run as well as yours does. Makes me want to start working on the '64 but funds are limited so it'll be a while. Good luck to you and your pop with the truck. By the way I've got a Goodyear chair and Michelin jack identical to the ones in the 1st picture.

Yea I kno for a fact ima have traction issues. But this is rly more of a show truck lol. If i wnated to hardcore track it...Id of just built a BB Dart motor lol. But yea..my dream is to be front page of truckin..or a major mag. like that.

Thx for the compliments, itll be a long process. But its a good thing im an **** person about everything on this truck so...everything will be in tip top shape. But one thing im not **** about is my interior. The fact its in 100% mint condition with orginial door panels. Not going for the crazy custom flame look. Itll have after market white guages and the rest will be orginial Dam i love trucks lol.

I gotcha... ya, keep it oem inside.. have that authentic look to it. Anyone can dump money into a custom interior.. but having the original is worth so much more.

Any major plans for the 4.8? Or just a DD?
