Default A few g-tech questions.

I just ordered one of the older style g-techs off ebay for $26. I know the numbers are not 100% accurate, but how much off are they? I think someone said the 1/4 mile trap speed is 5-7 mph off, and the e.t. by .2 seconds. But I also want to know is it persice as well? Thanks in advance.

i just got the ebay one your mentioning also. I've had it for about a week now. My 0-60 time seems to be a consistent 5.5-5.6 sec, i did manage a 5.1 sec 0-60 down a hill. It seems to work good for the money, my 1/4 time seems to be a 14.5-14.7 ranging from 93-96 mph. my real 1/4 times are in sig.

good luck with it!

My G-Tech is 4 MPH fast on 1/4 mile speed but within a few hundredths of second on the 1/4 mile ET. I like having it to get a baseline ET and MPH before doing a mod so I can see performance increase after the mod. I've tried the G-Tech in a friend of mines 95 Trans Am (best 1/4 mile is 10.23 @ 132) and the G-Tech would show a 16 seconds@72mph. Guess it doesn't like fast cars?
