Default A favor from the coil-spring rear vehicles, please...

Av 1500, Tahoe, etc...

Anyone with a factory trailer hitch and factory ride height... Could you please measure the distance from your receiver, to the ground?

I'm having a hard time getting a good ride height between my SS and our travel trailer. I've pulled it 8 times in the past with my 1500 Avalanche, and the thing pulled AWESOME.

The SS wants to pop a wheelie, and flipping my 3/4" rise / 2" drop ballmount doens't give me the results I want.

Thanks.

I would think its do to the SS siting more level, and not as high in the back. The back of my Z71 was over 2" higher than the front, I removed the factory lift blocks, now when I put weight in the back, it sits nose high.

Sweet, thanks a lot guys. Perfect picture, niwtsol...

I'm trying to figure out what's happening when I hitch up to the trailer.

I had the hitch on the Av at the +3/4" position...

While the SS needs it in the -2" position - even though I believe the truck is already lower than the Av. (This hitch-to-ground measurement will help me figure that part out.)

The Av definitely had more rake to the front, and much more suspension travel out back. I think I'll be doing airbag helpers to bring the rear of the SS back up a bit.
