I feel ya bro, I had a 383 stroker in my garage for 6 months. It cost my a little over $4,000 to build this motor, then I traded the truck I was going to put it in on the one I drive now. So I sold the stroker, for $2,000

Not the fastest, but I have an LQ9 shortblock and WCCH stageII 317 heads at my father's machine shop, and a bunch of goodies that are supposed to go in it (LS2 timing chain, 31lb injectors, etc.). I had a thread almost 2 years ago when the shortblock was living in my dining room where I used to live. Then I became a daddy and the project got put on hold until I win the lottery or find a second job lol.

ok so i see i'm not the only one lol. i've got price quotes out the *** for stuff i need or want but have to wait to get. i've got ideas i want to do but no money to do them. but this year i have a goal of at least getting the motor in. well..... after the first of the year. one thing that sucks about taking so long is it give you time to change your mind for a new idea. next thing you know you don't know for sure what you want to do.

532 CI dart blocked BBC dale banks twin turbo setup (for my boat...) being torn down right now... cracked a valve spring going about 115 mph
2 different cracked small block short blocks. 7 or more broken big blocks... (casualties of my old drag car) about between 3 to 5 k (when new) suspension components for said drag car... about 1700 in props for said boat
too much in misc components for said boat
saddest part... nothing for my truck
also have 3 different honda motors in various stages of assembly... for personal customers of mine, and 1 nissan sr20 blue top motor and a vq35 being built for boost
and yes i even have some cobra mustang heads in there on a shelf..... so i have just about every make of car in there....
oh yeah and still nothing for my truck

My mustang chillin on some stilts.... Sheetmetal tools to the left and drivetrain parts behind the car, the rest of the stand is int he attic above the car.
The car is on hold pending cooler weather, it is too damn hot to be cutting and welding in the garage during a Texas summer.
