nope, it says it's a 5.3. The VHO would make a perfect platform for that truck.

nope, 4.8 in the reg cabs only (notice the 5 speed) and then only the 5.3 in the excab from what i read. i bet they would sell more with a LQ9 in them instead...

 

ya... ah well. Cant wait for 07 is it? the reg cab ss? or is that 06.

 

for that kind of money I would expect some kind of forced induction? Looks mostly like a looks package.

 

yeah thats basically what it is. The single cab at least has the intake, headers, posi and 5spd.......this is just a way to appease those who want the RST looks...but the convenience of an extra cab, IMO anyways. if your really concerned about performance the single cab is the way to go.

 

Regency does make a truck based on the VHO, they had one at Speedway Chevrolet in Tulsa, OK. Sticker was over $50K
