get the 3/8 drive you dont need anything more then 100ftlbs. I got a cheapo 1/2 from Harbour Frieght to tq my lugnuts and I just use an impact on the crank bolt.

Ive got a 3/8" Snap-On electronic. My other 3/8" and 1/2" are Snap-On clickers. Never really had any issues. Had my 1/2" recal-ed because my friend used it as a hammer..

Yeah, I already have a 3/4" drive Craftsman model that goes from 20-150 ft lbs. I too use this one for lug nuts and the suspension parts.
Though I'd rather have a more accurate torque wrench for the engine parts.
I can still see the 1/4" drive Snap-on one coming in handy as well for the small stuff like header bolts, valve cover, engine & tranny pan bolts, valve body bolts, and the valvetrain bolts.
I might get both if the price is good.

These torque wrenches seem to be going for 200-250 used & new on ebay.
Hopefully my friend can get me them cheaper.

The 3/8 will do fine, it fits in there to do whatever you need to do. Unless you just want it for the hell of it. I was thinking of getting the 1/4 too but cant justify the cost since my 3/8 does everything I need it to. It can get back there fine for the d-side rear header bolt and anything else. Just get the 3/8 unless you got money to burn
