i hate it when a GF goes back to her ex. personal experience here. the best thing to do is keep yourself busy and be around people. keep your head up and things will get better. pretty soon you'll be done with school. a 2.7 is not bad. that is like a B- isn't it?

 

Well she's young and doesn't know any better now, in time she will.

I don't want to dwell upon the past but I've got nothing anymore and it's always there. A buddy of mine named Mo and I talked about a lot of stuff yesterday about the recent massive downturn of events in both of our lives. Neither of us learn lessons by being hurt emotionally, we learn through our actions and people we surround ourselves with. Those are things we pick up pretty quick it appears now. We used to party a lot and met lots of people and dealed with them...that pretty much showed us what we did not want to be associated with or be with in general.

He believes that **** happens for reasons also. Mo also went through this about 9 months ago. He met a gal (Kim) a while back (when he was like a Sophomore in highschool!) and they went their separate ways too recently, not on bad terms. She just wasn't ready emotionally for him, she was still immature. We came to the conclusion that women need to be mature to realize what they have or lost. One of our buds named Dustin used to date this chick years ago named Jessica. Well, she went off and got married then popped out a kid. She called him up out of the blue last week to go to lunch with him...she's unhappy with her situation I assume. Jessica had her wakeup call it seemed to me and realized what she'd lost out on. Mo thought up that I didn't go see my girl last summer so this would happen. That she would get burned for the last time by Mr. Wrong then realize me as a real person. He figured if I had gone up there, I'd have fucked it up then by going at the wrong time. I'd have gone for sex and that's not the right reason. Young women associate love with sex. In time they realize that love's more than that, a lot more than that.

Also Mo told me that I most likely met her at the wrong time, that's why this happened. She needs to go through her learning process still, and by me being out of the picture that's going to season her and then realize everything (like an epiphany type of deal I think is the correct term). Mo's an old man mentally like myself, so we realize and understand stuff before others. That makes a lot more sense to me now, I know it's just a slim thread of hope and such but it got me to thinking. I'm not going to wait my entire life for her but I'm pretty damn confident she's going to come back into the picture here. Not soon, but probably in about 2-4 years...but it could be sooner. I really don't know, but I do know she's going to come back in time. She turned out to be everything I was looking for and then some (and how I wanted to meet a gal...through someone else as that's how ya find quality ones), as well as came into my life for a reason more than to teach me something I'm sure of.

2.7 is a C, not good enough to do a damned thing with transfer-wise unless I want to lose like 30-40hrs of classes.

young girls have alot of growing up to do

and

things happen for a reason

there is one key thing that makes things better, but it is the hardest, TIME

 

Yup, all I can do is wait to see what the future holds for me.
