Default Efans & Alternator Size

When you guys have changed to efans, have you gone to the 145A alternator as well, or kept the 105A?

105 won't supply enough power to keep E-fans running.

I stayed with my 105amp alt. But it finally gave up after 180k miles, so I got the factory 130 amp

It's always a good idea to run heavier gauge wire when upgrading to a high amp alternator. The stock wiring on pretty much every vehicle I've ever seen has been relatively small or insufficient.

Thinking I will go with 250a alternator and a fuse kit, something like this:

I ran the 105A alternator for a couple years with efans and never had and issue. But I upgraded to a 145A unit when I upgraded the stereo and put in a sub. No point of a high output alternator unless you actually need it.

Also a good time to do the rest of the "Big 3" upgrade (do a search, it's covered heavily around most forums) and also upgrade the major ground cables too.
