I have a few questions about Edit and the Micro Tuner. I have a Nelson Performance Edit on my truck, and a friend of mine (Ford truck owner) has purchased a Micro Tuner for his truck. The dealer he is gettin it from told him that the Micro Tuner would be custom to his truck, but the guy never took any of his factory settings. Are the Ford truck Edit compatable? Will this guy be able to set up the Tuner custom or is he blowing smoke out his a$$? He has told my friend that LS1 Edit sucks and there are better programs to use for the GM cars and trucks.

Any help would be great. I know you guys know what you are talking about and I think this guy just wants to sell ****.

I have Never Heard of a Micro Tuner That is Custom.......But i dont know Much about Fords i know they dont for Mustangs Cuz i am in the market for one for my Wifes GT
But no Handheld Can Keep up with A custom tune or Ls1 edit

 

its BS, he needs to take the factory settings. Just like a hypertech being used. cheaper version I believe.

 

Thanks for the help so far. Is there an Edit Program out there for Ford trucks? If you can put a Micro Tuner on it shouldn't you be able to do a custom tune for it?
