Default ECT, temp guage, timing, etc.

This is on a 2005 Silverado SS

The other day I was noticing the coolant temp guage reading pretty high and figured the fans were set high from the factory so I logged a trip to work with EFILive. I know the factory temp guages are more of an idiot light but, checked anyway.

The fan settings in the computer are set stock to:

FAN#1 On- 226
FAN#1 Off- 219
FAN#2 On- 235
FAN#2 Off- 227

The highest the coolant temperature ever showed was 198. That's right in a nice spot for these engines from what I've seen in the past although a few degrees cooler wouldn't hurt with some more timing probably.

The highest the trans temp ever showed was 147 That seems kinda low to me from what I've seen recommended but, that's what it is.

The timing would peak at 18-19 degrees at WOT.

The O2's(stock) would show .870-.890 at WOT

The MAF recorded up to 38.62 lbs/min and peaked everytime over 38 lbs/min at WOT. That's alot more air than my 5.3L was dragging in that's for sure.

I am going to open the hood and let the truck idle while logging and see if the fans ever come on because the high temp on the log and turn on temp of the fans would suggest they didn't.

Just some data I thought was interesting. The truck seems to have a pretty nice tune in it but, I could see it picking up with a little more timing, cooler temps, and raised shift points(the airflow always seemed to peak around 5400-5500rpm).
