Default ECSB rear door leak

The rear drivers side floorboard is soaked every time it rains. It does it when parked too, so it is not coming from the bottom...anyone got a fix for this?

Have you lubricated or conditioned the weather seals? I use Armorall and it does an ok job at keeping them flexable. In the owners manual, they say to use a GM product (of course). I may give that a try to see if it's any better.

Yep. I doubt that would be it, it has done it since the truck was new...I use 2001 on all the plastics and wd-40 to clean the door jams.

I recall a TSB about rear window leakage... it could be coming from there as well

thanks guys I'm still looking for it...I removed the rear door panel yesterday and tested it w/ a waterhose. found a trickle where the rear door mechanism is. I adjusted that and no more trickle, but the small raised shelf area under the rear seat is also wet, so I must have another problem.

BTW: I tried to reduce the rear window wind noise by tightening the screw in that mechanism and broke the damn screw...
