ebay intake!

anyone on here tried this intake?

im tryin to find the cheap way out lmao,, it doesnt look to bad anyways. 4 inch piping and a 10 inch filter.

The cheap way out would be to modify your stock airbox. Mine works great.

I used a pneumatic (air) cutoff wheel to cut the bottom out of the plastic box, and also cut out as much of the metal tray below it as possible. My IAT's drop when making a WOT run, and stay within 5 degrees most other times. That means it flat out WORKS!

to answer your question, yes ive got one. and yes you do get what you pay for, but i knew that already and expected cheap stuff. theres no reason to pay $300+ on intake. so id either go with whats recommended above or the cheapest intake u can get..

i still live at home and my dad would never let me cut that metal out or i wouls do that....that sounds pretty cool!!

That's the same thing as a AEM kit, or the spectre kit like I have. It works just fine.

I'll try to get pics of mine...

There's no structural metal removed. It's just a tray that the plastic airbox sits in/on.
