Default Easy custom engine covers?

Does anyone have some pics of the "Vortech" Engine covers that have been customized whether by paint or buying a new one? I wanted to make that plain old engine bay look a little more dressed up... Also, does anyone sell aftermarket things such as valve covers, etc. that are chromed for a cleaner look? Thanks.

You can get the engine covers that are used on the higg-line trucks like the Caddys, they cover the whole top end. And I imaging you can paint them or do whatever. As for valve covers, IMO it'll be hard to make one that looks good, as the coils attach to them and will pretty much cover up the valve cover anyway, if they even make them, I'm not sure

oh ok... well fogle04 was just working on someones and you know those raised strips going down the middle of the cover? well he completely sanded that down to make the cover complelety smooth except for the vortech logo is the only raised area.. ive only got to see it in it's primer stages.. but it looks clean w/o those raised strips down the center.. that would look awesome if it was smoothed and painted silver maybe to match the truck and than have the vortech logo stand out in some way

I bought the three piece engine cover that comes with the SS truck and the Escalade. I sanded off the insignia's and painted it to match body color... white. Looked great until I put on the Radix I'll sell it for $50.

While I had the engine somewhat torn down I had the alternator, a couple of brackets and the valve covers powder coated. Even though the coil packs cover a good portion of the valve covers the white powder coating still looks real good.

If you are up to relocated the coil packs, you could show the valve covers off a little more. I know 1TrueSS painted his valve covers, I think black with the strips on them red. He moved his coil packs up a little and it turned out great!
