Default Earl's hyperfirm brake line kit.

I'm going to start my brake upgrade project soon and I'm looking at Earl's Hyperfirm brake line kit. My question is, what's the difference between the 3 and 5 line brake kit besides the number of lines? It's been awhile since I've looked at the braking system on my truck so I don't recall how many rubber lines there were. Is the 5 line kit THAT much better than the 3 line kit?

I didnt know there was even a 3 line kit for our trucks, i had only seen the 5 line one. There would be 2 lines up front and 3 in the rear i'd imagine.

Just got the 5 piece set last week! 2 for the front and 3 in the back. So there will be no rubber lines for the brakes on my truck. I have not installed them yet, waiting for nicer weather. I don't know about the 3 piece kit?

How much did that run ya and do you need any special tools for the install?

It looks straight forward. No special tools, just something to cap of the lines when bolting them up so you don't loose more fluid then you have to. I got mine locally at JEG's, for the same price that Thunder Racing sells them for. I will take pics when I do it, but it will probably be a month before the weather is a little better.

Sounds cool! Glad to hear from someone that bought them! I plan on doing a full write-up of my brake upgrade so stay tuned!

Dang, why aren't 4x4's included?

I'm not too sure that my brake lines can be disconnected. (That'd do it... huh? )
