Caught a Race with a 03 RCSB on sat....Looked Stock but had Side Exit Exhaust Sounded like Flows...First Two times we Raced at about a 45mph
Roll and i put about 2 Cars on him at a good pace then we Caught a lite
on Fairmont.Ask him what he had he said 4.8 with a 5m with only Exhaust.....Lite turnd Green I put 2 back on him But at About 65 he started Walking up on me at a good pace....Had to slow for the next light i Turned left...Never Saw Where he Went..But i was left thinking Damn that Was fast for A Stock 4.8...I know O1 Tunder Would eat me for Lunch but a Stock 4.8. if we would have had a little longer run im not sure If i could have Stayed in the lead....What i want to know is it the 5 Speed that gave him the Edge or am i just that Slow......

 

I think that was a little white lie when he said stock. He may have had a programmer or something.

 

When i first got my Truck when all it had Was Flows i Race a 4.8 with a 5 speed and he got me on the Start but After that it was all over for him......But i know the newer the Truck the faster they Get..

 

not like it matters when he has a 5speed.

anyway, i think if u have hypertech and he had 5speed its about even. and a race to 65 doesnt really mean anything
