i agree the e3s suck... get the NGKs if you want to go the cheap route, or you can get the delco 41-110 factory plugs and they're about 6-7 bucks at NAPA. they last about 100k miles (at least mine have) and you know they work well.

 

yea e3 have no use in our trucks....but my dad put them in our 91 bmw 315 and it had a noticable gain in pep and millage increased?? so they may work in certain aplications but go with some delcos or NGK's for your truck

 

Call me old school, but I will go to my grave saying that AC Delco OEM spark plugs are the only correct choice, if you are putting plugs in a GM vehicle. AC Delco makes a plug for damn near every application you could have N/A or FI. I've been in the business for years and everytime a kid come sin wanting me to install some Splitfire, Bosch P4 or E3 plugs, or any gimmick plug for that matter, I will warn them that they will be back and they will be complaining of how bad their vehicle is missing or stumbling. 99% of the time, I'm right and they are back within a month.

Guys, if you own a GM vehcile, use some AC Delco plugs. If you own a Ford, Lincoln product, then use the Motorcraft plugs. It's that simple.

 

I get the same crap at work..... "Hey man i got a 01 Mitsucrap Galant, i heard E3 plugs give you 5-10hp." just stick to cheap NGK there good plugs

 

Preach it! Seriously, I haven't seen any aftermarket ignition parts work worth a DAMN in any vehicle. Even on high performance builds such as my 468 big block chevy, I'm running everything with GM ignition parts. You want headaches or ignition gremlens, buy something that didn't come with your vehicle.

Hey, nobody's mentioned that the E3 plugs are junk...get Delco's or NGK's, either one will perform as designed in your truck
