Can I make my dynomax bullets louder by blowing the fiberglass packing out? If I can, will it sound deeper? I am fixing to have my 4inx22in tips put back on in 2 days. I figured it would be the best time to do it w/ the dumps right now. Anyone ever done this? Thanks.

 

damn my bullet muffler is already loud now.why would you want it louder?

Do you have an off road ypipe? How loud is it with the bullets and xpipe?

 

i got true duals w/ x-pipe, it's pretty loud. Want it a little deeper. Would it sound crappy if I blew it out?

 

i think if you blew it out it would just sound like open headers. which sounds like crap most of the time.

 

Are bullets just glorified glasspacks?

 

i was told the bullets weren't the same as glasspacks, they aren't chambered like a flowmaster, but not glassed like the oldschool muffs. if they're glasspacked i will be taking them off my truck at first opportunity and putting i guess 1 chambers back on. glasspacks have always been gay to me....and to think i've possibly been running a set on my ride for a while. oh well.

 

yea i dont like how "real" glasspacks sound. like purple hornies or something. but bullets sound nice. a good deep tone under part throttle.

 

30" glass packs sound very mellow. And they only cost about $20. I ran them for a year. Sounded great.
