Default Before Radix Dyno Results

Well, the truck got dynoed today. Mods are in sig.

240hp, 299ft lbs tq. 3rd gear, locked TC. SAE corrected numbers.

Anyone have numbers with comparable mods?

He said the dyno was conservative. Somewhere between a mustang and dynojet dyno. Temp was near 100* in the shop.

I got 230 rwhp and 284 rwtq on a 5.3 with a Custom tune and a flowmaster. This was with the 24's on so it is probably a little low. 2nd gear pull, if that matters. Still had the 3.73's in at the time.

Mine was 240/295 if I remember correctly. Dynojet. Very similar to yours.

here's my setup and dyno sheets.....

only thing i really have over you is custom laptop tuning with hptuner ( vs. your wait4me ) and underdrive pulleys.

Yeah, bone stock with about 5,000 miles I think. Cam came after the Radix.

The research I did seemed to point to Mustang results running about 7% conservative (under) those of a Dynojet. So my results would have been about 225/275 on a Mustang.

If the dyno you ran on was half that difference (3.5%), then I would have run somewhere around 232/285 on it. So with a few assumptions in place, you did get something out of your intake/exhaust mods.

Course, this is all theoretical. There are so many varibles at work that you can't really compare numbers on different dynos, especially when there are different operators, and different ideas about equipment calibration.

Take your baseline and check the test after the blower....That is all that matters in my book.....if you want to see what it really does...head to the track.

now that i have a sweet *** tune and a TT3000, im really looking for some awesome numbers.
