You need to dyno in 2nd gear. These engines are just getting started at 4900. They usually pull until at least 5700. I wouldn't be too discouraged.

I told him that it REALLY starts pulling good about 60mph in 2nd. After I get my cam in ill ask him to pull in 2nd.

Dude, not trying to be funny or nothing but that fuggin sucks !!! I hope you got a v-6 in that thing and not a 5.3 cause mine dynoed ALOT higher than that and I'm mostly stock except for a LS1 cam in it and tuning. I got 261rwhp and 284rwtq on a third gear pull and mines a '99 w/ 167,000 on it. Once again NOT flaming on ya or nothing but that T-case must eat up a LOT of HP...Zed

Well to pour more fuel to the fire I was lookin athe the dyno chart. It has some spikes in it so the numbers printed out wernt the correct ones. I misread the lines and it looks like it only had 208hp. the 218hp was a spike from the tranny shift. I know different dynos will give different numbers. Not too worried about the numbers now. After its all said and done if the predator shows to be my problem im gonna be

I dyno'd at 238.3 with the mods in my sig (only had stock 265 tires and a 87 tuned Wester's though) and the peak was at 5200 rpm's. Have to go back and try out and see how much I got from switching to the tune I was supposed to have (hot 93). Hoping the tires don't kill it too much

Guess if I knew anything about dynos I could have said that. Just thought that Dynojet was the name of his place.
