Im not gonna do this but im just wondering can you put a torque converter on a durmax truck? my dads duramax is pretty quick im just wondering it seems like a tq would let it get up pretty quick? just wondering

the stock TC wont hold the big gains of the juice boxes. but if you are talking stock, the TC in it is just fine. and you dont want a taller larger TC, just a stronger one. ATS and a few other companies make great ones, but arent cheap. 1200 dollars gets you going in one.

Unless he has Edge HJ or planning to stack like (Edge,Quad).The stock TC should be fine.Heres where you can get them.

My dad just got his D-Max on Friday. Pulling out on to the main road he laid down two black stripes until he let off the gas. These things do not need a higher stall converter.

You need a lower stall converter for a diesel.

I never understood why people waste so much time trolling other boards. Makes no sense. Then again, 16yr olds have always baffled me.
