Because I like trying things....the ls1 swap is what everyone does and is easy and straight forward. I was looking at coming up with different idea and just testing it to see how it works. I'm not trying to make things more difficult than they need to be, just wanting to go another route.
People have put taurus fans, gto fans, corvette fans, camaro fans, etc etc in our trucks.
Just make sure you stay away from Flex-a-lite. I can't tell you how many times I've seen the VSC controllers or whatever they're called break.
