Default DRLs wont come on

I noticed here lately my headlights run constantly even during the day. I just realized what the problem was. My photocell on my dash has fell down inside. Has anyone ever had this problem and if so how did you get it out. I'm looking for a easier way than pulling the dash out. I can feel it with my finger tip but have no idea how to fish it out.

Unfortunately you have to pull the A-Pillar trim and the upper dash pad to access the ambient light sensor. Install the ambient light sensor to the underside of the IP top cover, turning it 1/4 turn to secure it in place. Hopefully it will still lock into place and you won’t need to purchase a replacement.

Pulling the dash pad is easy. It might take you 20-25 minutes your first time, much faster after that.
