Default Drive shaft help??????????????

well today i took the truck in for a dyno tune and my drive blew to hell.My question is do i get another 1 piece aluminum ds or do i look for a 2 piece? and from what truck? Also are there anymore options with out breaking the bank? What would it take to put a 2 piece drive shaft in the place where there was a 1 piece? By the way my truck is an 05 crew cab with the 143.5 wb i think. Thanks

You can get a 1piece al dshaft for around $500, a 2 piece would be around that plus some extra for the support stuff.

How fast were you going to break the shaft?

Most guys with stock shafts only dyno in 2nd gear so they top out around 100...the stock shafts are not known to like anything above 100
