i didnt know keeping it on 4 hi kills my top end.. next time ill switch it out as soon as i get out the hole....... and well i m assuming i dont have enough power to put the 30s on so i guess ill just keep the 31.5s on.. it just seemed like my top end died hard.. the harley started gaining on me really hard on the last 5 seconds of the run..

the 4x4 gave you the advantage and enough jump to hold him off. those blower have alot of top end. check out the video of me running a harley with 430-440 rwhp and notice the difference from how i beat him on the 30-120 roll and how he comes up on the 60-130 roll. The 22s killed my performance but im happy i stilla came out with the win.

One of my work mates had a ’02 Harley Edition with an 8# lower and tuned it put down 390hp and 450tq. On the stock 20’s and street tires it turned 8.50’s in the 1/8th. It ran decent for what it was, but never could hook up with the crapy stock Goodyear’s.

yea tell me about it.. i jumped hard... he spun...then after he gripped ikept him back almost all second but like at 80 he just creeped up on me hard.. almost thought he was gonna pass me... so the question no is.. what to do for more top end.. if he runs his slicks i need to be able to keep up with him so he wont pass me on the top end... im pretty happy tho.. i have one heavy truck.. i just got lucky on how we set up the race.. heads on with slicks.. he would have got me by like 2 for sure...

get some heads ported, milled to raise some compression for extra power and that should do the trick. Its going to be tough to beat a 450rwhp 4 door from a roll especially in a 4x4 i can see it happening in a 4x2. i say get the heads done and races again and if anything just say wanna take it to the mud...LOL

or cheap and easy would be nitrous a simple 100 shot should also do the trick and if he cries about it tell him that since he has F/I that you decided to get F/I also
