There is a green wire under the hood that if you ground it it will disable the ABS. I didnt do this on purpose btw. It happened by accident. I was installing my e-fan harness and tapped into the wrong green wire which was suppose to be for the AC. I started it up and the ABS light was on and no ABS. I drove around for alittle bit, until I made myself double check the connections. I fixed it, and it didnt do anything else beside turn the ABS off which was fixed after I took it off.

There was a lovely 4" of cold blowing snow this morning. It was about 12*F out, so the snow was dry - not snowball snow. There was a fair amount of traction. My roads were untreated.
Two vids... Both stopping from 30mph.
Here is a vid with just a little ABS. (that's what that awefull noise is). You can (hopefully) see the speedo hang up a bit there.
Here is a vid with lots of ABS.
It's really hard to tell what's going on there. Without ABS, I stop in about 5 seconds. With ABS, I stop in about 6.5 seconds.
Threshold braking without ABS, I can feel the rear tires do something - if they're not locking up, they're rotating slower than my actual speed. My rear gets very light.

I just fixed my broken module on mine
I dont think tuning can take the light or the ding ding ding out
the way I understand it it goes through a test cycle at every switch on
and first 10 mph of each driving cycle
if it werent for the lights and dinging id have left mine off
hell theres even a special procedure for bleeding the brakes around this
