To others changing theirs, make sure you use anti-seize when you're putting new ones in though, makes it easier the next time or when you put LTs on.
+1, definitely use anti-sieze on the threads of the plugs. Not a bad idea to swap them out before they had a chance to oxidize and give you problems upon removal down the road

nothing wrong with stock plugs and wires. IMO they work better than any aftermarket part. i've tried both and have gone back to stock.

stockers are good for 100k like most are saying

Yes, I just buy the $2 Tr-55 NGK spark plugs at Advance or Autozone. Plenty of other people will back me up on that. I used to run them in my truck on nitrous and run them in my girlfriend's tahoe

TR55s went in Lownslo06's truck and TR6s went in Ice Cream Man's Trans am.
TR6s have been in my 6L for 30k? miles. one day ill change them.
NGK tr55 stock. TR6's F/I or Nitrous.

I also recommend putting Anti Seize on your 02 sensors when you get a chance.

bought NGKs for Mine, parts man said ACs better. but being a 18 year Honda tech. I trust NGKs, sad thing when I went to replace them it actually had NDs in it. A GM tech. said that came in some.
a couple of years back was doing a tuneup for a Buddy and the ACs I pulled out had AC and NGK stamped on the same plug. never heard that before.

FWIW,I was reading on the NGK site and it said their Ultra Fine Wire irridium plug takes less voltage to jump the gap and also reduces quenching by both electrodes. The center electrode is only 0.7 mm in diameter. They supposedly can cause less misfires, resulting in better power and mileage.
