Do the options on the display come from the instrument cluster or the pcm? If i change my cluster to a Denali or SS cluster will i get features i dont currently have?
My 2003 had real time fuel usage display and personal/businesss trip displays that they took out of the 2005 model.

Anyone ever swap clusters? Do the DIC options change with the cluster?

 

I think the only thing that comes from the PCM is the engine oil life. I think everything else is on the cluster. I could be very wrong though....
